This Privacy Policy describes and governs the information collection, use, and sharing practices of Propel (“Propel,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) with respect to the Providers Card service on the Providers mobile application (“Providers Card Service(s)”).

Providers Card offers you the opportunity to open a Providers Card account tied to a debit card issued by Sutton Bank. For additional information about the terms of the Providers Card services, see our Terms of Service at https://www.joinproviders.com/providers-card/terms.

Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by Propel and not to information collected by any third-party sites to which Propel may link or information provided to, or collected by, third-parties through third-party cookies, web beacons, or other third-party technologies served during your use of the Providers Card Services.

By using our Providers Card Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect and How We Collect It

Information You Provide.

In order to use the Providers Card services, you will provide us with the following information:

  • Your name, phone number, email address, physical address, birth date, and social security number.
  • Your online banking credentials for Providers Card, including your username (this can be your email address), password, and PIN.
  • If you choose to link an external bank account, your online banking credentials, including username, password, and account information such as account number.

Information We Collect Automatically.

We collect and store information about your device such as your Internet Protocol Address, MAC address, and Device ID.

We also track and/or record your use of and activity while using the Providers Card Services the time and date of your activities, page views, clicks, and similar information.

Transaction Data.

Galileo, Inc. provides us details relating to use of your Providers Card account and debit card, such as financial transaction dates, the merchants involved, the transaction types and the amounts.

What We Do With Your Information

We use your information, consistent with applicable law, for the following purposes:

  • To operate, provide, administer, develop, and improve Providers Card, and to operate and support our related business operations.
  • To better understand how users access and use Providers Card on an aggregated and individualized basis, to track and monitor usage, to conduct quality control, to fix technical and other errors or problems, to conduct market research, and to respond to user desires and preferences.
  • To analyze, compile, publish, sell and otherwise commercialize aggregate information and analyses relating to usage and users of Providers Card.
  • For advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes related to the offering of Providers Card.
  • To provide personalized experiences and recommendations, personalized help and instructions, or other customized responses to users of Providers Card.
  • To communicate with or contact users concerning their usage of Providers Card, including to provide user support and for other customer service.
  • To provide news and newsletters, special offers, and promotions.
  • To comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations or court orders.
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and other applicable agreements, rights, and remedies.
  • To protect the safety of any person, to address fraud, security, or technical issues, or to protect our rights or property.
  • To use in any other manner, or for any other purpose, for which you have given express permission or consent to us.

Who We Share Your Information With

Additionally, we will share and disclose information, consistent with applicable law, submitted, collected, received, or generated from and/or about you in connection with Providers Card as follows:

  • Contractors and Service Providers: We may employ other companies, vendors, service providers and individuals to perform functions or services for us or otherwise act on our behalf. These third parties may have access to your information to the extent needed to perform their functions on our behalf.
  • Aggregated Data and Anonymous Data: We may publish and otherwise disclose on an aggregated basis, information (including derivative information and analyses) relating to your use of the Providers Card services. This aggregate information does not identify specific individuals by name, address, phone number, social security number, or bank account information or debit card number.
  • Business Transactions: We may share your information with parties to business transactions such as those we deal with in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, sales of assets, reorganizations, divestitures, dissolutions, bankruptcies, liquidations, or other types of business transactions. In these types of transactions, your information may be shared, sold, or transferred, and it may be used subsequently by a third party.
  • Compliance with Law and Protection of Company and Others: We reserve the right to disclose your information when it is believed disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law, judicial proceeding, court order, subpoena or other legal process; detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, emergency situations or technical issues; enforce or apply the Terms of Service and other agreements, rights and remedies; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Propel, our employees and contractors, users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction purposes.

We will also share your information when we have permission or consent (as may be provided by you from time to time through your use of Providers Card services or otherwise).

How We Secure Personal Information

We take reasonable and appropriate measures to help keep information secure and to help prevent it from becoming disclosed to individuals who are not described in this policy. Even though we follow reasonable procedures to try to protect the information in our possession, no security system is perfect, and we cannot promise, and you should not expect, that your information will be secure in all circumstances.

Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google. Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine usage of the Providers Card Services, to prepare reports on activities and to analyze and improve the Providers Card Services based on how it is used.

Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser.

Anonymous user statistics are also collected using Google’s Firebase Analytics. The data collected cannot be used to identify individual users and is used to gather statistics on how the platform and app is used in order to obtain feedback on how to improve the app. Users can opt-out of mobile analytics by disabling Ad Tracking on their device. International Users

The Providers Card will only be issued to U.S. citizens and legal U.S. residents.

The Providers Card Services are hosted in the United States and subject to laws of the United States. If you are located in a country outside the United States and voluntarily submit personal information to us, you thereby consent to the general use of such information as provided in this Privacy Policy and to the transfer of that information to, and/or storage of that information in, the United States. U.S. LAW MAY NOT PROVIDE THE DEGREE OF PROTECTION FOR PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT IS AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY OR LOCAL JURISDICTION.

Children

We do not provide products and services to children. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of thirteen (13) and believe he or she has disclosed personally identifiable information to us, please contact us at help@providerscard.com.

A parent or guardian of a child under the age of thirteen (13) may review and request deletion of a child’s personally identifiable information as well as prohibit the use thereof. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to remove that information and terminate the child’s account.

Miscellaneous

Special notice for Survey respondents

To improve our Providers Card Services, we will occasionally post links to external surveys inside of the Providers app. These surveys are entirely optional. We use data collected in these surveys to inform decisions about the application, our business, and our partnerships. When you complete a survey, you consent to sharing your responses with us, including any personal information you choose to share. The surveys are hosted by third parties, and when you complete a survey, you are also agreeing to share your survey responses with these third parties and are also subject to their privacy policies. We never share any individual survey results outside of Propel. Occasionally we may share aggregated or summary results with our partners and other third parties.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify or amend this policy at any time by posting the revised privacy policy on our Providers Card Services. Material changes will only affect the information we collect after the effective date of the change to our privacy policy unless we clearly express otherwise..

Special Notice for Participants in the Beta Testing Program:

If you agree to participate in the Beta Testing Program, you provide us your account information so that we can test features and improve the app. The information you provide is used only for testing purposes by Propel; it is never shared with third parties. We take reasonable and appropriate measures to store your information in a secure manner. If you no longer wish to participate in our Beta Testing Program, please contact us at help@providerscard.com.
