From Ramona C in Oklahoma:

I’m a red head, and about a year ago I bleached (MURDERED) my hair blonde. Ladies, I literally KILLED my hair. I lost 2.5 feet in length, HANDFULS a day. My friend told me about a recipe she uses for her hair twice a month, and her hair is gorgeous by the way…

Fresh aloe vera leaves

Fresh ginger root

Coconut oil

Cut the aloe vera leaves exposing the gel inside, use a tablespoon to scoop the gel into a bowl.

Peel the ginger and cut into small pieces add them to the bowl.

Then add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil to the bowl

Pour entire bowl of ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

Strain the mixture using a tea strainer or cheesecloth to remove pulp, and throw pulp away.

Place mixture in a sealable container, the mixture will last for a week!

To apply just shake mixture and place on dry hair, massage into hair and leave on for 30-45 min. Shampoo as usual. I have been using this mixture for 6 months, and my hair has stopped falling out, gotten thicker and has grown approx 8 inches…

From Harriet Y in Illinois:

I found that toothpaste is good for the face to cleanse and refresh for a beauty treatment if exfoliating products are not available. It works for face, hands, neck, shoulders, chest, legs, and feet! Treat yourself from time to time to assist in better conditioning your mentality for a beautiful you with products that work better than prescribed medicines.
