My benefits were stolen off my EBT card. What can I do?

  1. Immediately contact your local office to report and request a new EBT card
  2. You may be able to apply for replacement SNAP benefits from your state. If you meet the eligibility requirements, complete and submit a Benefit Theft Claim Form.

What is EBT card skimming and phishing?

Skimming and phishing scams are on the rise. Scammers hide skimming devices on card machines to steal your EBT information and PIN as you swipe your card, or send fraudulent texts pretending to be the government.

Does Providers protect against EBT theft?
